George Robert Beadles, Sr.

George Robert Beadles, Sr., age 83, of Paragould, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 14, 2024. George was born on May 28, 1940, in Paragould to the late Robert and Pauline Riggsbee Beadles.

George was owner and operator of King George’s Auto Sales in Paragould and had previously been manager of OTASCO and Ben Franklin. He was a lover of cars, attending many car shows over the years. He also spent many hours refinishing antique furniture. George and his wife, Eileen, were of the Pentecostal faith. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Pauline Beadles; sister, Patricia Gibson; brother, Gene Beadles; and son, Johnathon David Beadles.

George leaves behind his loving wife, Gladys Eileen Bretch Beadles of the home; children, Beth (Jason) Beadles Crossno and George Robert Beadles, II, both of Paragould; grandchildren, McKinley Crossno and Collin Crossno; cousins, Cheryl Buck, Brad (Crystal) Buck, Jonetta and Suzanne Kelley, and Anna Gail Smith; and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 18, 2024, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at Mitchell Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 P.M. with Matt Gardner officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens. 

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Matt Gardner, Brad Buck, Dallas Moss, Troy Stidham, Keith Ellis, and Adam Ellis. Honorary pallbearers will be Cloyce Gibson, Farrell Gibson, Jeff Rousseau, Carl Crabtree, Chuck Ellis, and Collin Crossno.
