Barbara A. Gibbs

Barbara Ann Gibbs, age 71, of Paragould, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro. Barbara was born on October 25, 1952, to the late James Henderson and Mary Cole Henderson.

Barbara worked at Emerson Electric for many years prior to her retirement. She attended Stonewall Church. She loved to play Legend of Zelda and always enjoyed family game nights. She loved her family with her whole heart, especially her grandkids. She will be deeply missed by everyone that knew and loved her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Clifford Cole, her granddaughter, Payton Marie Gibbs, and her niece, Lisa Henderson.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Donald Gibbs, of the home; her daughters, Terri (Billy) Adams, and Sherry Gibbs; grandchildren, Logan Sutton, Shaylee Adams, Paxton Sutton, Shyann Adams, and Shiloh Adams; one brother, Larry Henderson, and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 12, 2024, at Mitchell Funeral Home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, beginning at 10:00 am with Brother Mark Trout officiating. Burial will follow at Greene County Memorial Gardens.

Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Benny Lueker, Devon Hampton, Ricky Foster, Jerry Don Thompson, Billy Adams, and Mark Adams. Logan Sutton will be serving as an honorary pallbearer.
